The New York Times finally publishes the first of three installments of secret documents, the “Pentagon Papers,” that have been passed to Times reporter Neil Sheehan by Daniel Ellsberg. [NOTE: Ellsberg had been connected to Sheehan in Viet Nam by CIA’s Edward Landsdale and CIA’s Lucien Conein.]
