CIA’s E. Howard Hunt is in Dallas, Texas. Lt. George W. Bush is living in Houston, Texas. He is a pilot trained on T-38 Talons, a type of plane used as a chase plane. There is a plan in the works for a Plumber operation that would require a getaway pilot to fly from Vegas to Panama. Bush has been suggested for the job. Hunt doesn’t think George W. Bush is serious enough for the job. They instead use one of Hughes’ pilots. Hunt will later be forced to use Bush though on ferrying the Cubans from Florida to D.C.
