Ann Margret falls 22 feet when the scaffolding on which she makes her entrance at Tahoe’s Sahara Hotel gave way. She suffered a concussion and multiple fractures including her left elbow and facial bones and the left side of her face. She nearly lost her left eye, the bones around the socket were so crushed.
